Officers of the Nigeria Police Force Zone 2 Command, covering Lagos and Ogun states, have emerged as one of the standout contingents at the ongoing 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA) in Asaba, clinching a total of 67 medals within the first five days of competition.
The impressive haul comprises 19 gold, 25 silver, and 23 bronze medals, placing the command firmly among the top performers at the national sporting fiesta, which began on February 14 and will conclude on February 21, 2026.
The athletes are representing the Zone under the leadership of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, whose command has continued to emphasise physical fitness, discipline and competitive excellence among officers.

BIPOGA, a biennial sporting competition organised by the Nigeria Police Force, brings together officers from commands across the country to promote fitness, camaraderie and operational readiness.
With several events still ongoing, expectations remain high that Zone 2 officers will further increase their medal tally before the curtain falls on the games in Asaba.
