An All Progressives Congress stalwart, Mr. Moyosola Niran-Oladunni, has charged political appointees to see their appointment as a call to service.
Niran-Oladunni said this in Akure today while congratulating the newly appointed members of the governing councils of tertiary institutions in Ondo State.
He urged them to see the appointment as an opportunity to create positive impacts in the educational development of the state.
Niran-Oladunni, who was the Director of Youth Mobilization of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu Campaign Organization, said the appointment also offered them a chance to build a worthy legacy and write their names in gold.
Niran-Oladunni also applauded the choice of Dr. Tunji Abayomi as chairman of the governing council of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.
He described Abayomi as a man of “numerous qualities and sound mind, who possesses more than enough capacity to provide the desired leadership for the fastest growing state university in the most populous black nation of the world”.
He further noted: “Dr Abayomi, you have certainly paid the price in time past to assure all reasonable minds that you have the capacity to lead at any level you are called upon to. You must, therefore, see this as a unique opportunity to showcase your leadership prowess to the people of the state by leaving a lasting legacy in the institution.”
