Xenophobia: Bakery Owner Narrates how She Narrowly Escaped Being Killed by Protesters in Lagos

A bakery owner has recounted her near death experience in the hands of anti-xenophobia protesters in Lekki, Lagos yesterday.

The lady who goes by the name: A Thousand Reasons Confetionery on Instagram, narrated her experience in a post she shared on her handle.

She said the protesters broke the glass of her vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser, and also tried to crush her and her driver with stones and other objects.

She said her saving grace was the timely warning by her driver that she should lay flat in the car, which saved her from being directly hit by the objects being hurled mostly in her direction.

She also shared pictures of her vandalised vehicle and part of her bruised body in the post.
