Quick intervention by the police in Lagos today doused tension as angry youths besieged Shoprite Mall at Lekki on a revenge mission following xenophobic attacks on their compatriots in South Africa.
There have been calls earlier in the day by students union governments, for attacks on about 120 South African companies in Nigeria of which Shoprite is one.
