Nigerian music star, Wizkid, has sparked fresh controversy on social media after posting a scathing message on X that appears to take aim at fellow Afrobeats heavyweight, Burna Boy.
The post followed reports of a physical altercation at a Lagos nightclub involving Burna Boy and popular disc jockey, DJ Tunez, who is widely known as Wizkid’s official DJ.
Although he did not mention any name directly, the timing and context of the post have fuelled widespread speculation that the comment was directed at Burna Boy, particularly given the reported incident involving DJ Tunez.
The controversy began after reports emerged that DJ Tunez was allegedly attacked during a late-night encounter with Burna Boy at a Lagos nightclub.
While details remain sketchy and unverified, multiple videos circulating online appear to show a tense scene involving several individuals, fuelling speculation of a confrontation between both camps.
