Aviation minister, Hadi Sirika, has explained that an aircraft belonging to Flair Aviation, a British carrier, was impounded because it operated an illegal commercial flight into the country.
Sirika in a tweet, today, disclosed that the crew is also being interrogated.
According to Sirika, the company was granted permission for humanitarian operations.
The minister tweeted, “Flair Aviation, a UK company, was given approval for humanitarian operations but regrettably we caught them conducting commercial flights. This is callous!
“The craft is impounded, the crew being interrogated. There shall be maximum penalty. Wrong time to try our resolve!”
