The Court of Appeal has explained the reason for the reconstitution of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
The tribunal was reconstituted by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.
Spokesperson for the Court of Appeal, Mrs. Sa’adatu Musa, described the development as routine.
According to her, “it was an administrative step taken by the President of the Court of Appeal in exercise of her constitutional powers”.
“The new panel will start work soon. The earlier panel has not started sitting, so there is not need for anyone to be suspicious,” she added.
