Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has emerged number one favourite to take over at Real Madrid.
Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino, are also among the early front-runners to succeed Zinedine Zidane.
Zidane, 45, addressed an unexpected press conference on Thursday afternoon to reveal that he will be leaving after two-and-a-half years in charge and landing an historic Champions League hat-trick.
As the quest to find a high-profile successor commences, Wenger, Pochettino, Conte and Maurizio Sarri, most recently of Napoli, have all been linked with the Madrid job.
Wenger has, however, emerged as the bookies’ favourite to take the job.
Wenger, who rejected overtures from Real Madrid during his time at Arsenal, is said to be the leading contender to replace his compatriot at 3/1.
Antonio Conte is the second favourite at 4/1 as his Chelsea future continues to be far from certain.
Former midfielder Guti, who played for the club between 1995 and 2010, is priced at 5/1.
Guti is employed by the club as a youth coach but could be promoted to the senior team if club president, Florentino Perez, decides to put his faith in him.
Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino priced at 6/1 despite the Argentine signing a new five-year deal.
