Videos: Sympathisers Defy COVID-19 Protocols as Buruji Kashamu is Buried in Ijebu Igbo

A crowd of sympathisers and loyalists of late Senator Buruji Kashamu defied COVID-19 restrictions to witness his burial at his Ijebu-Igbo home today.

The remains of the late former senator was buried at about 1pm.

Earlier, the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, was at the home of the late politician.

The late Senator, who represented Ogun East Senatorial District between 2015 and 2019, died yesterday, due to COVID-19-related complications at the age of 62.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the remains of Kashamu arrived from Lagos yesterday night in Ogun State for burial.
