A video shared on Twitter has shown the moment a man confronted some young ladies protesting against rape in Ipaja area of Lagos State.
The man could be seen berating the bewildered protesters that the only way they could avoid being raped was for them to stop collecting money from their male friends.
The man who appeared agitated could be heard in the video saying, “You girls, you have a role to play in that rubbish. You will be collecting money from boys. How can you? Go and search your conscience. Stop collecting money from boys. Before you talk to any girl now, they will be saying…… Even me at my age, I have girlfriends of your age. They will say daddy, how much will you give me. Am I lying. Stop collecting money from boys. When you collect money from boys, anytime they have the chance, they will deal with you.”
