The World Health Organisation (WHO) has debunked claims that reversing a medical mask prevents COVID19 infection.
It said there is no scientific basis for such a claim.
In a YouTube video, WHO also demonstrated the proper use of medical masks.
It noted that the coloured side should always face outward.
It also observed that the medical masks are specifically to be worn by health workers and those who have been infected.
