Video: Ondo Youths Inaugurate Bad Road to Mock Gov Akeredolu

Femi Ashekun/

A viral video has shown some residents of a town in Ondo State performing a mock inauguration of a dilapidated road to register their displeasure with state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

The 30 seconds video which captured the deplorable condition of the road was shared by a Twitter user via the handle @SodiqTade.

A young man who acted as the governor noted in his mock inauguration speech that the residents took the initiative because they realised that the Akeredolu had been very busy signing various MOUs.

His words, “Akeredolu we say the lord will reward you according to your handwork. We hereby commission this beautiful project on behalf of the Ondo State government. We understand that the governor has been very busy. He has been busy signing MOUs. That is why we thought it necessary to commission this project for the use of mankind and the entire federation.”
