A woman has alleged that her husband and his friend wanted to use her and her son for money ritual after they were rescued from the back of an SUV where she was tied up in Surulere, Lagos.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the persistent shout for help by the woman when the car was stuck in slow moving traffic attracted the attention of passersby.
A viral video of the incident shows the moment the woman and her son were rescued and a mob descended on two men believed to be the husband and the friend.
The woman who spoke in Yoruba could be heard in the video saying: “My husband and his friend were on their way to use us for money rituals before we were rescued.”
She also also claimed that she had three children for her husband but he has already used two of their children for money rituals.
