A Twitter user has shared a video of the moment the family a bright young Nigerian lady, Iniobong Umoren who had gone missing since Thursday, was informed by the police today that she had been raped and murdered.
Her close friend, Umoh Uduak, who was first to announce her disappearance in a series of tweets on Friday, had also earlier today confirmed her death in an emotional video which she shared via @UmohUduak1.
The victim is believed to have been raped and murdered by a kidnapping syndicate in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, who lured her with the offer of a job on Twitter.
Her disappearance has been trending on Twitter under #FindHinnyHumoren since it was announced by @UmohUduak1 on Friday.
NewsmakersNG learnt that two suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the incident.
