An Air Peace flight from Port Harcourt has crash landed at the Lagos Airport in Ikeja.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the aircraft suffered a burst tyre as it was preparing for landing at General Aviation Terminal in Ikeja.
The aircraft, which was flown by a female pilot, reportedly departed Port Harcourt around 11am.
A passenger in the aircraft sent the following message to NewsmakersNG:
“It was like we just dropped from about 30,000 feet onto the runway. Front landing gear tire burst/collapse.”
NewsmakersNG also obtained a video of the passengers being evacuated from the airplane.
Some of the passengers could be heard in the video praising the expertise, courage and professionalism of the pilot.
