A video showing guests at what seems like a pre-wedding party of Abdulaziz Malami, son of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, flagrantly disregarding COVID-19 protocols, is trending on social media.

Abdulaziz is getting married to Khadija Danbatta in Kano this morning.

The groom’s father, in a tweet this morning, appealed to family and friends who would not be able to attend the ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions to support the family with prayers.

But, the video shared by Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 election on his Twitter page, shows Abdulaziz and his guests flouting COVID-19 protocols during the party.

The video shows the guests, without face masks, spraying the couple with money as they disregarded physical distancing protocols.
