Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, today announced that he has contracted COVID-19.
Akeredolu made this known in a video message he shared via his verified Twitter handle.
He said he initially thought he had malaria but was advised to take the COVID-19 test which returned positive today.
The governor said he is asymptomatic and had opted for supervised home management until he recovers from the disease.
