A video of some supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress crawling through sewer line to escape the violence that marred the party’s governorship campaign kick-off in Lagos on Tuesday has surfaced online.

The event which had in attendance party leaders including Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and the governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, came to an abrupt and bloody end when a fight broke out between factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

A yet-to-be-identified person was reportedly killed, while several others including three journalists sustained gunshot injuries.

Also, strongman of the NURTW and APC chieftain, Alhaji Musiliu Akisanya, aka MC Oluomo, was stabbed in the neck and currently battling for life at the EKO Hospital in Lagos.
