President Ali Bongo of Gabon attended a ceremony in the capital Libreville today, marking his first live appearance in public nearly 10 months after suffering a stroke.
Bongo, whose steps appeared unsteady, leaned heavily on a walking stick as he shook hands with senior military officers at the event.
A video of the event was shared by AFP.
