An online video has shown a group of Boko Haram fighters blowing up armoured tanks and gun trucks reportedly abandoned by fleeing Nigerian soldiers.
NewsmakersNG gathered that the video was recorded during a recent attack on Monguno town in Borno State by the insurgents.
Monguno is the hometown of the National Security Adviser, Major Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd).
