A trending video shows the moment US President Joe Biden arrived Buckingham Palace yesterday for a reception for visiting world leaders and other dignitaries in a convoy that included his armoured limousines, known as the Beast, while several of his contemporaries and other foreign dignitaries, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, were brought to the venue in a fleet of buses.
The world leaders arrived at the Westminster Abbey for the state funeral this morning in similar fashion.
The UK government had earlier warned foreign dignitaries, including heads of government, planning to attend the burial of Queen Elizabeth II to consider flying commercial planes as private jets would not be granted permission to land in London.
World leaders were also told to prepare to be ferried around in buses as they would not be able to use their private vehicles.
