Video: Akwa Ibom Police Give Update on Job Seeker’s Murder after Family Protested Delay in Releasing Corpse

Following a protest by the family of slain Akwa Ibom job seeker, Iniobong Umoren (@HinnyHumoren), over unexplained delay in releasing her corpse, police authorities in the state have provided an update on the matter.

The state police spokesman disclosed in a video shared on Twitter by the deceased friend, @UmohUduak1, that the body had been deposited in a mortuary pending when an autopsy will carried out on it.

He also said the alleged killer, identified on social media as Uduak Frank Akpan, is in police custody.
