Rivers State governor, Mr Nyesom Wike, has raised the alarm that the ground has already being prepared for crisis in the 2019 elections.
While receiving members of the Senior Executive Course 40, 2018 Study Group Three from the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, who paid him a courtesy visit in Rivers, Wike blamed the Federal Government for the collapse of National Security.
He told the senior executives led by Rear Admiral Ahamefule Eluwa that the FG by its actions has laid the foundation for crisis in the upcoming elections.
The senior executives were exploring the topic: ‘Strengthening Internal Security Framework and Community Policing in Nigeria, Models, Policy Options and Strategies.
Among them is former Abia State commissioner of police, Mr Leye Oyebade.
