The Ogun State Police Command has issued multiple missing person alerts, seeking the public’s assistance in locating individuals who have recently disappeared under various circumstances.
In a series of announcements by Ogun State police spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola, the police urge residents to remain vigilant and report any relevant information to assist in reuniting these individuals with their families.
Cases of Missing Persons
Asafa Halimat (23 years old, Female)
Asafa Halimat, a fair-complexioned young woman standing at 5 feet tall, was last seen on February 13, 2025, at approximately 7:20 AM. She left her residence to report for work at Overcomer Computer Centre, located opposite the Magistrate Court in Sagamu. She speaks English and Yoruba fluently. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Sagamu Police Division at 08028377520.
John Omomo
John Omomo was last seen opposite the Deeper Life Bible Church in Ofada on February 11, 2025, around 5:30 PM. He was reportedly boarding a tricycle (Marwa) with a woman heading towards Mowe. Habibat Abdulrafiu (23 years old, Female)
Habibat Abdulrafiu, a dark-complexioned woman, was last seen leaving her home at No. 3, Asheshina Street, Odo-Kabiru Olosun, Itele-Ota, on February 20, 2025, at approximately 5:30 AM. Reports indicate that she is mentally unstable. The police request that anyone who has seen her or has relevant information should report to the nearest police station immediately.
Adeola Jamiu (48 years old, Male)
Adeola Jamiu, a tall and slim dark-complexioned man, was last seen on February 20, 2025, at around 11:00 PM. He left his home at Alamala Estate, Ayetoro Road, Abeokuta, en route to his workplace at Obasanjo Farm but has not been seen since. Concerned individuals are urged to report any information to the Ilupeju Division of the Ogun State Police Command.
CSP Odutola emphasizes the need for community cooperation in finding these missing individuals. Family members, friends, and concerned residents are encouraged to report any sighting or relevant information to the appropriate authorities.
The police also urge the public to share these alerts widely to enhance awareness and maximize efforts in locating the missing persons.
