Two female police officers, identified as PC Godiya Dauda and PC Kubra Ibrahim, have died in a fatal car accident while travelling to Akwa Ibom State to take part in the police biennial games.
The deceased officers were part of the Borno State Police Command contingent to 13th Biennial Police Games; tagged: ‘Uyo 2022’.
According to the command’s spokesperson, ASP Mahid Abubakar, 15 other personnel sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident, which occurred around Jos.
