Updated: Five Dead, 23 Rescued in Ebute-Metta Collapsed Building

A 3-Storey building collapsed last night at 32, Ibadan Street Ebute Metta recording some casualties.

The building before it collapsed.

According to reports, the building caved in at about 9:48 pm yesterday trapping an unspecified number of occupants.

NewsmakersNG learned that five bodies have been recovered and 23 persons rescued amid efforts by first responders to salvage the situation.

  • The government giving all this developer approval should always have a body that will check mate the raw materials they use for the building.Most stories buildings are death traps because they build them with low raw materials. May their souls rest in peace Amen
