President Donald Trump has described moves by the U.S. House of Representatives to officially start impeachment proceedings against him as a “Witch Hunt” and “Presidential Harassment”.
Trump made his reactions in a series of Tweets after U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said today that the House of Representatives would launch a formal inquiry into whether the President should be impeached.
The Democratic-controlled House will examine whether Trump sought Ukraine’s help to smear former Vice President Joe Biden, the front-runner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
