Dear Readers,
Welcome back to Together Forever! Some of you may remember this column from years past, and I’m excited to tell you that it’s back, with fresh stories, laughter, and lessons for every couple who believes in love that lasts.
Marriage is beautiful, but let’s be honest, it’s also full of twists, turns, and lessons nobody warned us about. In this space, I’ll be talking about the real stuff: the joys, the struggles, the funny surprises, and the everyday realities of living and loving under one roof.
I won’t just be sharing theories; I’ll be opening up about my own personal experiences in marriage: the victories, the mistakes, and even the awkward moments. For example, in a recent season of my life, intimacy with my husband became a painful struggle, an experience I later discovered many women of my age bracket also face due to menopause. That’s the kind of real-life journey I’ll be writing about here, not to embarrass, but to encourage, and to remind us that we’re never alone in these challenges.
Together, we’ll explore topics like:
How to keep intimacy alive during menopause
Forgiveness: The secret of staying together forever
Respect: The Bedrock of every happy marriage
And many more.
And yes, we’ll laugh together! Because humor is one of the best ingredients for a lasting relationship.
So whether you’re in a serious relationship, newly married, 20 years in, or just curious about the mysteries of couplehood, this column is for you. Think of it as a conversation with a friend who has walked (and is still walking) the road of marriage, with all its bumps, potholes, and beautiful scenery.
Here’s my promise: every week in Together Forever, you’ll find a mix of real talk, heartfelt encouragement, and practical tips to help you and your spouse not just stay together, but truly enjoy the journey. FOREVER.
I want it to be interactive, please share your opinion or send question to the comment section or newsmakersng@gmail.com. You can also share your experiences. We will talk about it here.
Let’s laugh, learn, and love together.
Till next time, remember: Love isn’t perfect, but it’s worth it
