Tobi Abiola Bags ICAN’s Distinguished Leadership Award (Photos)

Royal fathers and eminent personalities witnessed the presentation of ICAN’s Distinguished Leadership Award to the Institute’s Honorary Treasurer, Otunba Tobi Abiola FCA, as part of activities marking the 18th ICAN Western Zonal Conference in Ibadan, Oyo State at the weekend.

During the presentation inside a parked hall at Jogor Centre, Ibadan, the Chairman, ICAN Western Zone, Alhaji Lateef Awojobi, said, “As the pride of ICAN Western Zone, this award is presented to you in recognition of your commitment to mentoring numerous young Chartered Accountants and outstanding contribution to the growth of District Societies in the zone.”

Dignitaries at the presentation, on February 1, included Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engineer Adebayo Lawal; ICAN President, Dr Innocent Okwuosa FCA; the Alapomu of Apomu, HRM Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, HRM Oba Akeem Ogungbangbe;the Alara of Ara, HRM Oba Dr. Olubayo Adesola Windapo; Olubosin of Ifetedo, HRM Oba Akinola Akinrera, and ICAN Vice – President, Chief Davidson Alaribe FCA.

Others are: Elder Timothy Oyelami, Chairman, Body of Chairmen, ICAN Ibadan & District Society, and Hajia Queensley Sofurat Seghosime FCA, the 2nd Deputy Vice President and Coordinating Director, Federal Inland Revenue Service (Retired).
