The men came out to play big time. There is now a clear separation of the men from the boys.
The cubs stayed at home and watched the action, focusing and learning lessons for the future. They should know it’s not yet their time.
The charlatans continue with their games, thumbing hard on their phones and tablets, as if their lives depend on it. It probably does.
They took out their microphones and microscopes looking for irrelevant nuances and grammatical fuddy duddies, in a language that is foreign to them, and irrelevant to 90% of the populace. If pidgin English had been used, would the populace not have espoused the communication better and faster?
Today, “EMILOKAN” has been fully embraced in the lexicon of ‘Nigerianspeak’ and it was coined by one focused man who knows how to communicate straight to his people. The idioms used frequently by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu appear too sophisticated for elite pretenders to understand.
The issues are very clear and they are embedded in a widely circulated document, the APC Presidential Manifesto. Other candidates are struggling to project clear, reviewable policies that would impact Nigerian lives positively. They are neophytes who are unable to criticise or fault the APC manifesto. It is increasingly clear that they lack the ability to provide an alternative policy document to match the one that is in the public domain as presented by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
So what does the opposition have? Lies, and more lies. Palpable falsehoods, misinformation and disinformation is their Modus operandi. They spin and roll negativities and engage in propaganda like Saddam Hussein’s “Baghdad Alli”. They even say “Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not exist”! They are already saying that, he has no root, NO NAME, no degree, no father, no mother, no country, and probably no wife or children. They actively believe that he is a ghost roaming the vast landscape of Lagos and Nigeria with impunity, and are searching for any available contraption to cage the ‘ghost’!
When you have NOTHING, and lack policies to run on, you create illusions and propaganda to plant in the minds of the people. You promote lies and say that “Tinubu owns Lagos”. He is stupendously wealthy, therefore he must be corrupt. Yet, when you ask for evidence, they are unable to provide any, against a man that is one of the most investigated persons in the country.
This man with no name has done well for himself so far. He was a Senator, a former NADECO Chieftain, a two-term Governor of Lagos State, a moulder of powerful men, an astute politician who has mentored great leaders, a unifier who helped birth a coalition of parties into one formidable party that was able to wrest control of power from an incumbent National Government, an identifier of great minds and great talents, and a resourceful, farsighted, result oriented politician/businessman, who towers high above the rest, with his name on the lips of Nigerian across the length and breadth of this great country.
After yesterday’s rallyit is Indeed clear that the jungle has matured.
The city boy is gloriously marching on., ignoring the de-marketing efforts of his traducers and naysayers. The lion is out and roaring and the cubs know the difference. The cubs will stay home this time because ultimately, they know they can’t play big boys’ games.
Bola Tinubu’s train is leaving the platform. Those who are slow to get on, should start to run, or they will miss it.
