The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu today announced that his vice presidential placeholder Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari has withdrawn from the race.
Tinubu made the announcement in Daura where he also informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his choice of a replacement in the person of former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima.
When asked by newsmen who is his running mate, Tinubu announced Kashim Shettima.
