President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to former Oyo State Governor and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, following the passing of his wife, Tinuade.
In a message of sympathy, the President extended his thoughts to the Ladoja family, as well as the associates of the late Tinuade, and the Celestial Church of Christ, where she was an active member of the Pastor-in-Council.
According to a statement from Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu acknowledged the profound impact Tinuade had on her community, commending her dedication to charitable causes, her wise counsel, and her strong advocacy for the welfare and education of women and children.
Highlighting her exemplary life of service, the President praised her unwavering commitment to promoting the gospel and her long-standing role in the highest decision-making body of the Celestial Church of Christ, including her leadership within the Women’s Council.
As the nation joins the Ladoja family in mourning, the President prayed for the peaceful repose of Tinuade’s soul and asked for divine strength to uphold the family during this time of grief.
