The author, Johnson Temilade David, also known as TE-MASS was born, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, in a family of five. He is the firstborn of Mr. & Mrs. Johnson. Temilade believes that love is the most powerful weapon man has in their possession. He graduated from Babcock University in 2022 and immediately dived into his craft, which he has been honing since 2018. He is a master poet in the youth of his roots, planting the future with seeds of inspiration.

TE-MASS describes himself as a hopeless romantic with a lonely past. As an extreme introvert, while growing up, he found solace in poetry and music. Crossing the border from teenage to young adult, he became the phoenix of creativity, reborn and remixed with love, art, poetry, and the universe.

Poetry and music were his rock and rope to life, especially since he is a fan of American rapper, Juice Wrld and forever part of the 999 families. The first poem he ever wrote was from a therapy session he started as a young adult, and the decision to go and face his demons has been the dawn of his evolution.

TE-MASS is a phoenix of poetic fire, unafraid and unapologetic.

Now, he is surrounded by people who see him as a generation of inspiration, led by the old and new school, knowing that what he can be and will be is limitless. Even when he came to the United States of America in search of a new beginning, he knows that with God, all things are possible for those who believe and do their deeds.
