Seven passengers of an inter-state commuter bus have been reportedly abducted by suspected herdsman at Ore, on the Lagos-Benin expressway.

News of the incident was shared on the Twitter handle of Abuja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, @NBAAbuja.

Another Twitter user, @IkeOtikpa, disclosed that the abductors had contacted the family of one of the victims and demanded N10 million ransom.

The tweet said the bus, operated by God is Good Motors, was travelling from Enugu to Lagos before it was intercepted around 7am.

The tweet did not provide any further details.

The police were also tagged in the tweet but are yet react it.

The tweet reads: “We just received a report that 7 passengers travelling on the 7am @GodIsGoodMotors Bus from Enugu to Lagos were kidnapped today around Ore. Their location is still unknown and their Families are in despair.
