Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has been released from detention in the Republic of Benin.

The umbrella body of Yoruba self-determination groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, confirmed this in a statement today.

According to the statement, Igboho was released to renowned Yoruba historian, Prof Banji Akintoye.
