A female member of the musical band that performed at the funeral ceremony for the mother of Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, in Ibadan yesterday has narrated how she was robbed on her way home.
Taking to her Twitter handle, the lady said she was attacked in the early hours of today in Ikolaba area, which is a walking distance from the Government House.
She said she was beaten up by her assailant, who also took all her money and atm card.
She also shared a picture of herself after the attack with bruises on her body and another picture showing her in the hospital.
Part of her tweets read, “For those asking, it happened at Ikolaba, close to officers mess, government House road. We went to play for Seyi Makinde mother’s burial. My money and ATM were taken. I’ll find a way to go to the clinic later. Maybe go to the bank first; make withdrawals and then to the clinic.”
