Wife of billionaire industrialist, Chief Razak Okoya, Shade, has disclosed that she and her husband and other family members who attended the 80th birthday party of Nigerian High Commissioner in the United Kingdom, Justice George Oguntade (rtd), are hale and hearty.

Shade was reacting to media reports that several prominent Nigerians who attended the party held on March 10 in London have self-quarantined over fears some of them might have been infected with coronavirus.

Their fears reportedly stemmed from unconfirmed reports that two of the guests at the party had died of the virus.

But Shade in a statement shared on Instagram by Ovation magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, said none of her family members had displayed any symptoms of coronavirus 16 days after the London party.

“My husband, myself, and family members plus all our close friends were in attendance and I can confirm that we are all well and fine after 16 days of attending,” she wrote in the statement she personally signed.
