Residents of Zone 2 Orita-Iloko Community in Ilesa, Osun State, have expressed profound appreciation to the Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi (FADA), following his donation of a new electricity transformer to the area.
The transformer, community leaders said, comes as a major intervention that brings long-awaited relief after years of erratic electricity supply and persistent power challenges that have affected homes, schools, businesses, and local commercial activities.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Zone 2 Orita-Iloko Community, Pastor Moses Omotade, and the Public Relations Officer, Pastor Olatoye Olagoke, residents described the senator’s gesture as timely, impactful, and reflective of genuine grassroots-focused leadership.
“This noble gesture is a clear demonstration of people-oriented leadership and a deep concern for community growth and sustainable development,” the statement read.
The community noted that the improved power supply expected from the transformer will energize local businesses, boost economic activities, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
Senator Fadahunsi, fondly known as FADA, was also commended for his consistent responsiveness to the needs of his constituents and his commitment to development across Osun East. The community prayed for God’s continued guidance and strength for the lawmaker as he continues to serve the senatorial district and Nigeria at large.
“Once again, we say thank you to our Distinguished Senator for remembering our community and making a meaningful difference in our lives,” the community concluded.
The appreciation statement was dated December 30, 2025.
