Scores of travellers were reportedly kidnapped by suspected bandits along the Kaduna-Abuja road this evening.
Several others were also shot and abandoned by the attackers.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the bandits attacked communters around Katari and Kurmin village at about 5pm, in an operation that lasted nearly one hour.
Reports say no fewer than five commuter buses were attacked by the bandits during the operation.
