SARS Officer to Face Sanction for Inappropriate Dressing

Police authorities have disclosed that an operative of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, whose photo trended on social media for dressing in an inappropriate manner while on duty, would be subjected to internal disciplinary procedure.

Police disclosed this via a tweet on their verified Twitter handle today.

The photo had shown the police officer, identified as Inspector Michael Olubode, in an outfit that looked similar to that of music star and right activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charley Boy or Area Father.

The officer, who was armed with an AK-47, also held a red scarf similar to the one used by gangs or secret cult members.
