Sanwo-Olu Jets in, Visits Collapsed Building Site after Midnight

Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has cut short an overseas trip to visit the site of a 21-Storey building that collapsed in Ikoyi on Monday trapping several builders and the developer, Femi Osibona, in the rubble.

NewsmakersNG learnt that Sanwo-Olu dashed to the site straight from the airport after midnight and left at about 2:30 am.

Rescue workers have been bringing out bodies from the rubble for three days, while friends and family members of Osibona and other trapped victims have been staying at the site praying for a miraculous rescue.
