Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, have promised to work as a team as they get set to take the oath of office.
They both stated this in separate tweets early this morning.
Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat formally take over the reins of government in Lagos State from former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his deputy after their inauguration any moment from now.
Emphasising the importance of teamwork, Sanwo-Olu noted in his tweet that “no matter how smart, talented or passionate you are, finding the right team is a big step to achieving greatness”.
Writing on his Twitter handle, @jidesanwoolu, the governor said: “I realised early as a Leader that no matter how smart, talented or passionate you are, finding the right team is a big step to achieving greatness.
“As @drobafemihamzat & I take the oath of office, we promise to be a team that works only #ForAGreaterLagos.”
Also tweeting on his own Twitter handle, @drobafemihamzat, Hamzat wrote: “Ready. The late Sir Winston Churchill said the price of greatness is responsibility.
“Today, our minds and bodies are aligned for the greatest responsibility of our lives.”
