These lines from the ‘Greatest Love of All’ song by Whitney Houston resonated with the activities of Rotary Club of Ikoyi on February 26 as the Area Commander in charge of Lagos Island, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olubode Ojajuni was invited to deliver a lecture to a group of schools.
The Campaign against Cultism, Hard Drug and Social Vices was part of the World Peace and Conflict Prevention Lecture held by the Rotary Club in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force.
The students were addressed at the event held on Osborne School Complex, Osbourne Road, in Ikoyi.
Members of Rotary Club of Ikoyi at the occasion included Rotarian Nkeiruka Akarutu-Balogun (President of the Club), Past Asst. Governor Nike Maiyaki; Asst. Governor John Senaya; Rotarians Chris Ehiogie, Funsho Gbogboade, Ayobami Babalola, DRR Constance Jaiyeola, and Rotaractor Agbana Jino.
Dr (Mrs) Olufolayimika Abiose Ayandele, the Tutor General /Permanent Secretary Education District 111, Lagos State and some officials also participated alongside Principals, Vice Principals and Counsellors of the secondary schools involved.
