Robbers Dare Police in Akwa Ibom, Raid Bank

After receiving stern warning to leave the state or face the wrath of the law, armed robbers in Akwa Ibom dared the police and raided a bank in the state today.

Shortly after a new commissioner of police (CP), Mr Zubairu Muazu, resumed in the state today and immediately served armed robbers the quit notice, they struck at Sterling Bank’s branch on Abak Road, in the state capital, Uyo.

The bandits allegedly fired a staccato of gunshots in the air as they escaped with their loot.
