Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has engaged an activist, Comrade Steve Kefason, in war of words on Twitter over claims by the latter that primary school teachers in the state were being owed seven months salary.
Kefason, who described himself in his Twitter bio as “certified ruffler of Elrufai’s feathers” had posted a video on the handle, @realKefason, which purportedly showed the teachers prostesting non-payment of their salaries by the government.

But El-Rufai responded by calling the post fake news and threatened to sue the comrade same as he did to the Pastor of Dunamis Church, Paul Enenche, whom the governor also accused of peddling falsehood.

To another Twitter user who sought to know how many people the governor would end up dragging to court before the end of his tenure, El-Rufai responded that he was prepared to file charges against as many people as possible.
