Agbor was agog as Nollywood Star, Regina Daniels, took the town in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State by storm on Children’s Day.
The event, which was supported by Delta North Senator-elect, Dr (Prince) Ned Nwoko saw a mammoth crowd at the Children’s Day carnival that also enjoyed the endorsement of Delta State government.
NewsmakersNG learnt that over 20,000 persons attended the event.
Fun lovers, families from Port Harcourt, Benin, Warri, Onitsha, Awka and other Anioma towns poured glowing tributes on the convener, who they said made their children’s day memorable.
Gifts such as Bicycles, Schoool Bags, Toys and many other takeaways were splashed on the kids.
Top celebrities and music stars also added colours to the event described by one of the participants as “iconic”.
One of the guests from Port Harcourt, Fubara Cynthia, said, “My children insisted we must attend the event and I must say that we are gratified by the dozens of celebrities we saw here. I never thought I could ever see some of the faces I see on Television screen here. May God bless Regina. We are also leaving here with amazing gifts.”
Blessing Ihan from Alifekede, who came with two of her children said: “We have never seen a concert like this in Ika land. This is amazing. My children are very happy and I am the happiest.”
Regina, who thrilled the crowd with her dance steps, urged young people to stay away from cultism, drugs and all kinds of vices.
