Former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, officially handed over to his successor, Commissioner of Police (CP) Olanrewaju Ishola, at the Lagos State Command Headquarters in Ikeja today.
Immediately following the handover, Fayoade assumed his new role as Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) at the Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos.
Fayoade’s elevation comes after his recent promotion to the rank of AIG, along with six other police commissioners, by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on August 30, 2024.
In his farewell address to officers and men of the Lagos Command, Fayoade expressed gratitude for their professionalism and dedication, urging them to maintain their high standards under the new leadership.
