Popular Supermarket Owner Murdered in Ibadan Home

Owner of the popular Zooma Stores in Ibadan, Dr Dolapo Tejumola, has been murdered in her Bodija home, in the Oyo State capital.

Zooma Stores, which was founded by the deceased’s parents, is one of oldest supermarkets in Ibadan.

NewsmakersNG learned the deceased, who was also a medical doctor, was strangled by suspected armed robbers, who raided her home in the early hours of Sunday.

Her dead body was reportedly discovered by the manager of the supermarket, who went to check on her after she failed to report at work and her mobile line was unreachable.

  • This killing is really getting too much and our police are not really helping matter's. If they have been prosecuting those that killed people immediately by now some of them will desist from the evil act. May God grant her eternal rest

    • Very sad news indeed. She was a very quiet and committed business woman. May God be merciful unto her and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
