Policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command today prevented an identified young man from committing suicide on the third mainland bridge.
According to a tweet by @rrslagos767, the man wanted to jump into the lagoon from the top of the bridge before he was accosted by RRS personnel.
The tweet said he had been taken into custody at the Adekunle police station, Yaba, pending the time his relations could be contacted.
