The police have smashed a gang of armed robbers who trail cars from banks in Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Zamfara states.
Members of the 5-man gang smashed by men of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) led by one Superintendent of Police (SP) Usman Maibinga, were identified as: Ademola Adekunle, 32; Useini Amina, 44; Babangida Abdullahi, 35; Tunde Adebola, 40, and Ibrahim Abdullahi, 40.
According to the Police, items recovered from the gang include: master keys, spanner, pliers and several tools used in opening cars and breaking glasses.
